Open role
Sales Manager
Management, full time, based in Cincinnati and covering the markets we expand into. You lead from the front — you still work the field — and you build the team that works it with you.
The job
You run a team and you carry a territory. Nobody here manages a job they have not done, so this seat is filled by people who have closed on the programs they become responsible for. You set the week, you sit the debriefs, you recruit and develop the people under you, and you answer for the number at the end of it.
What you will do
- Lead the team from the front and set the standard by working the field yourself.
- Plan and manage the team’s workload across the week, the month and the quarter.
- Run the daily debrief and turn what happened at the doors into what changes tomorrow.
- Build the team through recruiting and developing the people already on it.
- Read the numbers — coverage, conversion, what is not working — and make the call.
- Report to the client honestly, including the parts that are going badly.
What you will develop
- A client-service foundation and a team culture people want to stay in.
- Consumer engagement, problem solving and conflict resolution under real pressure.
- The business essentials behind a field operation: coverage, staffing and forecasting.
- The judgement to tell a client something they do not want to hear, early.
How you are paid
- You are paid on what you close. No part of your pay comes from anyone else's sales.
- There is no buy-in. You never pay Marble anything.
- Your exact structure is stated plainly in the first conversation and put in writing before you commit to anything.
- The board resets every Monday. Last week's number does not carry into this one.
Where it goes
Market Lead, then client partnership. Every seat above this one was filled by someone who ran a team first, and this role is the door to all of them.
You are accountable for a number you do not close yourself, which is harder than closing it. You will have to let people go who genuinely tried. The board resets on Monday for you too, and yours is the one everyone can see.
Apply

We call you for a straight conversation, and if that goes well you spend a day in the field with the team before anyone talks about an offer.
